Floral Design Classes

For Floral Training and Home Designers

Are you thinking about a career as a floral designer, wish to enhance your current floral design knowledge or just creative and want to learn? 

These classes are what you have been waiting for and are being offered on Cape Cod. 

All classes are hands on and at the end of each class you take home your beautiful project. 

Allow me to share my 40+ years of floral experience with you! 

• Individuals for their own pleasure 
• Those that wish to learn for their own design 
• Full or part time floral industry professional wanting to increase knowledge
• Design industry professionals such as Event Planners, Interior Decorators, Artists, Realtors, Caterers and Landscapers to mention a few 
• Brides and family members that want to create their own floral designs for weddings or special events 

Students learn everything you want about floral design, product availability, alternative designing techniques, care and handling of cut flowers and where to buy fresh flowers and plants along with supply items. 

Join us for our next hands on class and learn everything you want about:

Classes are held 5:30pm - 8:30pm on Tuesdays. 

Classes will take place at my shop, 23 Sanderling Drive, Cataumet, MA 

2 PRICE POINTS: 

• A single class cost

• A minimum of 5 people must enroll in each class in order for a class to be held.

• These are beginner floral design classes.  
• People that will benefit from these are: those looking to enter the floral design world, expand their current knowledge, training for staff or DIY wedding or just a great social creative time!
• During each class we will review the elements and principles of design and how these apply to each design project.  
• You will learn how to create popular designs for every day, weddings, parties, and special events arrangements.
• Care and handling of fresh flowers, foliage and supplies that are used for each class project.
• Order taking with clients.
• How to calculate material needed to make designs, calculate cost of goods and price at retail.
• Prepare and place orders with wholesalers
• Packaging, transportation, and delivery of designs will be discussed.
• Starting a picture portfolio.

• Pre-payment in full is required in order to secure your space in any class.
